Original Saxon & Dresden Porcelain from Our Historic Collection

From 1985 to 1995, Groenensteyn Light / Haagsche Kunsthandel was the exclusive importer of Saxon porcelain in the Netherlands.

Today, we still hold a substantial collection of original German porcelain from this period, including pieces produced in the former East Germany (GDR) before German reunification in 1990.

Our collection includes porcelain from renowned Saxon and Thuringian manufacturers such as Plaue, Volkstedt, Scheibe-Alsbach, Sitzendorf and Schierholz.

Many pieces are unused original old stock, preserved for decades in excellent condition. A number of pieces still have their original factory packaging and authentic manufacturer’s marks.

This is a rare opportunity for collectors, interior designers and lovers of fine European porcelain to acquire genuine historic German porcelain from a collection that has been in our possession for decades.
